Hi, I'm Kerri, welcome to my website.

As a Physiotherapist, Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach – I will help you take care of your whole body; what you eat and drink, how you move and exercise, and any aches, pains or injuries you may be suffering.


I have been in the health and fitness industry for almost 20 years and have experience of working with every type of person in an NHS setting, to working with elite and professional athletes in tennis and football.


On a personal level I have always been ‘sporty’, playing hockey to a national level, competing in football, badminton and judo; but I haven’t always been fit and healthy. 


Since childhood I have struggled to manage my weight, I spent large periods of my teenage years and twenties being morbidly obese – despite being a fitness trainer and sports physiotherapist!


Since 2012 I have been a healthy size and weight – not through dieting but by making changes to myself and my behaviours that are sustainable. I am now able to help women who are sick of yoyo dieting to alter their behaviours and lifestyles in a systematic way which doesn’t feel daunting, scary or impossible to maintain.

  

I have completed the London Marathon twice which has prompted me to develop my skills and knowledge in working with endurance athletes. I have worked with runners, triathletes and Ironman competitors to stay healthy through training and events, improve their running technique and boost their performance levels.


I am able to offer a unique and bespoke service to my clients – combining nutrition coaching, personal training and physiotherapy to take complete care of your health and fitness.

Nutrition

Health and Fitness is 75% Nutrition - have you ever heard the phrase "a six-pack starts in the kitchen"? Well, it's true. Without the correct, healthy balance of nutrients to fuel your body, you are risking ill health, injury, chronic conditions, mental health problems and you won't get the best from your exercise routine, mental function or mood. If you want to lose weight, you have to address your nutrition.

Exercise

As a personal trainer, obviously I have some bias here! But, exercise should be a must for every human being. We are designed to be moving, we have created chairs to sit all day but our bodies haven't evolved to sit all day! Our muscles, joints, heart, lungs, brain need to move and be exercised to stay in tip-top condition, plus we feel happy, energising hormones during and after exercise!

Physical

Therapy

Everyone gets aches and pains from time-to-time, whether you exercise or not. I have treated a huge variety of people, from those who are completely sedentary - usually for back and neck pain due to computer work, all the way through to professional football players, marathon runners and triathletes. Sometimes the body needs help to recover and rehabilitate and it is best done earlier rather than later!
